SERVICES DURING REGULATIONS
In accordance with the actions issued by the Hungarian government, as of 11th November, the HUFA Library, Archives and Art Collection cannot be visited in person. However, electronic services (e.g. e-costumer services, information regarding late fees and other library services, providing certificate of student status, questions regarding our records) are still available for the library’s readers by contacting email@example.com and for archival researchers by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org . The Library’s catalogue (https://katalogus.mke.hu) and electronic databases (www.mke.hu/adatbazisok) are also available.
Already borrowed books expiring after 10th November will automatically be extended, for the moment, until 15th February 2021.
The University’s staff may visit the library in person on weekdays – Mondays through Thursdays form 10AM-4PM and Fridays 9AM-3PM.
Previously borrowed books may be returned by post (1069, Andrássy street 69-71.). The library will send confirmation about the successfully returned documents via email.

The building of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts is situated in Andrássy road, half-way between Oktogon and Kodály körönd.
Access by underground (1st or “yellow” line, "Vörösmarty utca" station), 73 and 76 trolleybus ("Andrássy út" stop) and any service calling at Oktogon or Kodály körönd.
MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY:
Any person over 18 can join the library, but only the students, teachers and staff-members of our university, the Moholy-Nagy Laszlo University and the art historian department of other hungarian universities are entitled to borrow documents. An ID card with photo is also necessary to get the library membership.
