In her lecture Alexandra Pirici will present several works made for the public space in various socio-political contexts, that take the form of sculptural interventions, performative environments or public monuments in motion, and that address questions related to the construction of collective memory and historical narratives, as well as the use and negotiation of the public realm as such.
The lecture is organized as part of the BIP program PERFORMATIVITY, CARE AND REPAIR. SOMATIC EXPERIENCES, taking place between 3–7 November 2025.
