The Graphic Art specialization was given the opportunity to exhibit at the Department of Fine Arts of the University of Rzeszów. Within this specialization, each professor, along with a student of their choice, represents the fine arts scene abroad. Our school's teachers, Assistant Professor Bianka Dobó and Associate Professor Dr. István Madácsy, DLA, will accompany the traveling students.
Each artist has different creative and general experiences, connected with the places where they live and work. We present our private space, our vision, our territory, and our emotions. We look from our own perspectives through the prism of our own experiences. We explore the world around us, share our discoveries, giving them visual form. We are united by the need for creative action and the sensitivity through which we discover perhaps unexplored spaces.
The word "space" also refers to the artist's territory as an individual, appreciated for their private explorations, which may run counter to mainstream trends, stand across or even swim against the current. The artist takes risk by following an unknown path. This makes the clash and comparison of different realities all the more important. In this way, a more complete picture of the world and the human condition emerges.
I see the profound meaning of such encounters. Art has always set new trends, and artists have sensed impending changes with their sensitivity. Their voices carried weight and significance. Each such confrontation demonstrates that there exists a common language of creative approaches. Despite diversity and divided opinions, visions, and temperaments, it remains universal. We need collective activities to overcome our narrow perspectives, to see reality not only from our own perspective, but also to see the broader picture.
